table for you...Gordon Food Service is hiring an Indirect
Procurement Systems & Compliance Lead. Responsible for leading
supplier enablement and indirect spend compliance by leveraging the
Source-to-Pay (S2P) value chain. Coaches Indirect Procurement
Analysts to successfully deploy and maintain S2P functionality.
Drives Indirect Procurement's efforts to optimize S2P processes and
delivers a world-class experience for internal end users and
suppliers via S2P applications. Owns, creates and maintains
catalogs, contracted pricing terms, and purchase order strategies.
Leads and drives excellence in broader procurement objectives and
initiatives through strategic thinking, process improvements, and
data analysis.Responsibilities:
- Identifies and executes strategies to optimize S2P
functionality to drive enhanced compliance, efficiency, and
automation.
- Drives supplier compliance within the S2P solution and executes
an escalation process for non-compliance. Defines, tracks and
drives improvement of supplier enablement success metrics.
- Owns supplier enablement activities and accountable for
efficient supplier onboarding. Owns direct contact with suppliers
and ensures follow through
- Creates and owns S2P strategies and action plans related to
supplier enablement, catalog development, contract management, data
governance, and user adoption.
- Creates and facilitates supplier and user resources and
training opportunities to drive adoption, improve the user
experience, and maximize the value of our end-to-end S2P
solution.
- Leads communication efforts related to supplier enablement and
user adoption. Develops communication strategy and tactics to
ensure engagement with key stakeholder groups including Warehouse,
Transportation, Stores, and other large user teams throughout GFS
business units. Escalates missed value/savings opportunities,
engaging appropriate managers and leaders when needed in order to
drive adoption.
- Initiates change to deliver a world-class user experience of
the S2P application by providing outstanding buying support.
Engages with application users frequently to resolve buying issues
and provide further education / enhanced knowledge of the
application and its processes. Engages internal IT team and/or S2P
team to help solve technical issues.
- Accountable for collaboration with external partners
(application teams, consulting partners, banking institutions) to
drive success in supplier and internal user adoption
campaigns.
- Owns process for ensuring suppliers are transacting in the S2P
solution as expected. Delivers business continuity by ensuring
suppliers are set up to transact with Gordon Food Service through
S2P application; ensures the usage of preferred suppliers by
filtering out supply options that aren't a network fit.
- Actively engages in user outreach, influencing and leading
stakeholder groups throughout the company (including US, Canada,
Stores, and Strategic Alliances) to ensure stakeholder's consistent
usage of preferred suppliers.
- Responsible for optimizing the effective use of the upstream
sourcing module of our S2P solutionIdeal candidate will have:
- Self- managed; must be open minded, have integrity, initiative,

- Technology - advanced Excel knowledge (ie. pivot tables,
vlook-ups, macros, formula creation)
- Must be detail oriented with a commitment to a high level of

- Ability to communicate, collaborate, and learn from other
departments to ensure continuity of work and project
coordination.
- Demonstrates the ability to comprehend and improve business

skills.
- Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to
work independently and within a team environment.
- Develops solutions to a variety of problems of large scope and
complexity. Refers to policies and practices for
guidance.Experience:
- Bachelor degree required Accounting/Finance, Supply Chain or
related
- Five years previous experience in any of supply chain, finance,
or applicable equivalent with demonstrated ability to develop
business acumen in previous role(s)Adherence to Hybrid Work Policy:

function of the Indirect Procurement Systems & Compliance
Leadposition. The policy is subject to change, and employees will
be required to adhere to those changes as a condition of their
continued employment.Location:

- Hybrid Schedule 3 days in office 2 days remote
- Monday to Friday
